I had a great day yesterday when I mentored a seminar on PR photography for a group of professional clinical photographers, who converged on Selly Oak Hospital from across the Midlands and beyond for a whole day of me explaining the dark art of public relations photography and how to ensure your photographs get published. The role of clinical photographers demands that technically they have to be the sharpest of the bunch when it comes to quality imaging, so it was very humbling for me to be asked to share my experiences and tips of the trade with fellow professionals from another sector of my profession - and we all had some good laughs throughout the day! Many thanks to Jane Tovey for organising us all. Phil Mynott

This was a really fun and interesting day and I thoroughly enjoyed learning about the PR side of photography. Phil made it interesting and accessible to all, even myself who, coming from a video background was a bit more inexperienced compared to the other attendees!
