Seaside blue and red ...

14th May 2016

Two vibrant colours can sometimes clash when put together in a photograph. However, if you capture blue and red in a photo it can look stunning. This shot here taken in North Wales is a great example of how such colours can look effective. I've gently adjusted by +4 the colour saturation and added a gentle vignette to frame the image and centre the viewer's eye from wandering. Remember to always be careful when adjusting colour saturation, keep an eye on it to ensure you do not overcook it. Extreme colour saturation may look dramatic on your screen but it's very unlikely to look the same if reproduced as a printout.
