On target for future goals...

Professional footballer George Lapslie made his Charlton Athletic debut in August 2017 winning the Addicks’ Young Player of the Year Award at the end of last season and achieved Championship promotion with his club at the age of 21.

Most Saturdays, George dons his clubs strip of red and white but this week he was clad in a very different ensemble - wearing a cap and gown - as the professional footballer took to the podium at Anglia Ruskin University to mark his graduation from his Sports Science and Coaching degree, cheered on by his girlfried Ruth Scott.
